Evoke Therapy Programs Coach

Anthony is an associate clinical mental health counselor that operates from a person-centered, attachment-based model. Anthony has over a decade of experience working with families in crisis, and he specializes in providing support to parents of teens that struggle with addiction and other high-risk behaviors, as well as individuals looking to strengthen their relationships with themselves through parts-of-self work. Anthony’s passion for therapy was ignited during his experiences as a therapy guide through Evoke’s wilderness program. The feedback he receives most often from clients reflects a deeply empathetic a non-judgmental approach.

Education & Prior Work Experience

Anthony holds a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University. He is licensed as an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah, and he has obtained a National Certified Counselor credential. Anthony began his career at Evoke as a wilderness therapy guide in 2013 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Princeton University. After spending a number of years supporting children and families in crisis through Evoke, Anthony felt inspired to pursue an advanced counseling degree so that he could serve others as a therapist. In addition to his experiences with wilderness therapy, Anthony honed his clinical perspective while working at a community mental health center in Philadelphia, PA. Although supporting an eclectic caseload helped to broaden Anthony’s skillset, the core relational skills he developed at Evoke still serve as the backbone of his approach. He whole-heartedly believes that the power of the therapeutic alliance is the most critical element of supportive and effective therapy.
