Brennan

Field Director

As the field director, Brennan serves as a supportive resource and guide for the staff on the ground. Brennan previously worked as a senior field guide, assistant field director and part time transporter for Evoke and incorporates his knowledge of these roles into his mentorship of the staff teams. Brennan finds meaning in helping people reframe their experiences through the lens of narrative therapy and utilizes this method to empower field guides while holding space for their growth and professional development.

Brennan is a Northeast native, hailing from the beautiful Garden State of New Jersey. Brennan was brought up by parents who helped foster an impactful relationship with the outdoors through camping, hiking, birding, and exploring the forests and sandy beaches of the East and West Coast. Through these experiences, Brennan learned of the restorative effects of the wild and is passionate about guiding others on their own journey.

Brennan graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor of Arts in counseling psychology and a certificate in horticultural therapy. Brennan's experience spans from working in a private practice setting, helping facilitate anxiety groups for adolescents, to helping empower veterans in the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital to overcome their various physical challenges to grow their own vegetables, nourishing their bodies and their minds.

Working for Evoke combines Brennan's love of the outdoors and his passion for helping people help themselves and define their values. In his free time Brennan enjoys spoiling his cat Maggie, drinking coffee, playing guitar, and exploring the wonders of southern Utah.
