As the Pursuits Program Director, Roberto ensures program operations, as well as quality of services. He also works on the design of new adventure trips and trip leader development. Additionally, he ensures risk management control for all of the Pursuits Trips.

Roberto was born and raised in the land of the Incas, Peru. He moved to the U.S at the age of 30 and has been living in Utah since 2007. Since then he has worked for Evoke at Entrada, taking on several different positions. He began as a field instructor and worked his way up to become a level 5 Mentor Field Instructor. After several years he transitioned to the Logistic Department as a member of the transport team. Roberto worked as a mentor life coach for families and graduated participants transitioning home after wilderness. He also worked as the host for the "Oasis," Evoke at Entrada's mindfulness camp. Roberto obtained his Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College while working as a field instructor.

Prior to joining the team at Evoke Therapy Programs, Roberto worked for over 12 years as an adventure tour guide and leader, traveling with clients on trips lasting for days to months at a time in various countries all over the world. He also worked as a natural history assistant for film crews and professional photographers such as the BBC and Art Wolfe.
With his experience, knowledge, understanding, and passion for therapy, Roberto brings energy and excitement to this program, which allows him to be creative and facilitate a positive and effective outcome for its participants.

Roberto loves hunting, fly fishing, mountain biking, camping, trail running, cooking, photography, riding his motorcycle, and watching movies. He currently lives in Salt Lake City with his fiancé Amanda and two dogs, Juno and Vaca.
