Lindsey grew up in the mountains of Colorado, spending the majority of her childhood either walking up mountains, or skiing down them. She got her Bachelors degree at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, studying English & Psychology, with a focus on child development. After a stint as a social worker and a journalist, Lindsey was introduced to the world of wilderness therapy. Lindsey was a field instructor for almost two years with Cascades, before becoming the Parent Coordinator. Now, Lindsey has rejoined the field department as the Assistant Field Director, bringing her understanding of the work and passion for the process back to her roots in the wilderness of Oregon. In her spare time, Lindsey explores the wilderness of Oregon with everyone’s favorite field dog, Kenja.
