The Evoke Team
As the Assistant Field Director at Evoke Entrada, Ariel facilitates and organizes orientations for potential hires, provides mentorship for field staff and oversees Evoke’s community outreach. She ensures program quality through continued staff development with a focus on self-care, compassion, accountability, and feedback. Ariel believes in Evoke’s mission and philosophy and is currently enrolled in a Gayatri Yoga Teacher training. She is passionate about coaching staff in the practices of Mind, Body, and Spirit to use as a valuable tool for participants in the field.
Ariel received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Human Development and Family Studies at UCONN, where she developed her passion for culture, language and studying family dynamics.
In August 2015, Ariel began working with Evoke Entrada as a Field Instructor and continues to enrich the Field Department with her whole-hearted commitment to staff development, cultural experience, and motivation for growth. She maintains involvement in the industry by attending workshops and presenting at conferences.
Ariel’s childhood passions were playing varsity sports and enjoying outdoor adventures with friends and family. This led her to a Wilderness School and hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail with adolescent groups, where she discovered her love for Wilderness Therapy.
In her spare time, Ariel is sure to pursue her own outdoor adventures with her dog, Maverick, travel, and indulge in DIY/Upcycling projects. Whenever possible she makes a point to visit her family and beloved pets back in her hometown.
