As the Clinical Director at Evoke Summit Lodge Claire provides program-wide leadership, supervision over clinical operations, and regularly facilitates intensives. Claire also leads in outreach and educational efforts as an invaluable resource for those inquiring to learn more about Evoke intensives. As both the Clinical Director and Intensive Facilitator, Claire provides a unique and individualized insight into how an Evoke Intensive could be directly beneficial to any individual.
As a clinician, Claire’s engagement with clients is rooted in compassion with a willingness to see the humanity in each individual. She specializes in experiential therapy and psychodrama to aid in the healing of codependency, trauma, anxiety, depression and substance abuse. Her journey began with her own personal work, in which Claire discovered experiential therapy. Claire discovered profound healing in more action-oriented work as opposed to basic talk therapy.
Claire is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy. Claire comes to Evoke’s Summit Lodge with years of experience guiding retreats and intensives. Claire embodies Evoke’s whole health philosophy through her personal practices and the programming she implements into Evoke’s Intensives. She focuses on the wellness of mind, body, spirit, and soul, and creates individualized care to meet the needs for each person where they’re at. Claire defines her work through compassion and creativity, allowing everyone to show up as whom they are to grow, change, and heal.
Raised in the South, Claire loves coming together with family and friends around a good meal (she makes an amazing pie) or for porch sitting. After spending many years in Utah, Claire has recently moved back to the south with her family to Birmingham, Alabama. Always the explorer, when Claire isn’t traveling to Utah to visit family or facilitate an Intensive, you’ll find her traveling, hiking, and creating art with her husband, two children, and pup.
