Stephanie grew up in New Mexico where being outdoors was a part of everyday life. She enjoyed hiking at an early age, which has remained a hobby throughout her life. As an adolescent, she gained an appreciation for community service through 4-H.
Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree in English from New Mexico State University. After graduating, she taught SAT preparation classes in Seoul, South Korea. She returned to the States to lead trips for an adventure tour company, camping and hiking across the country. Evoke Therapy Programs was a great combination of adventure and teaching, and Stephanie became a wilderness field instructor at Entrada in 2010. She enjoyed working with the clients and witnessing their growth and the healing powers of the wilderness. After a year and half in the field, she got the opportunity to move into the office as a Parent Coordinator. Stephanie enjoyed working closely with parents while their children were in the field. She is excited to now be working with the admissions team and assisting families at another stage of the process.
Stephanie enjoys hiking and is an avid reader. She loves spending time with her niece and nephews, and makes many trips to Colorado for birthdays and holidays. Making superhero capes and quilts for them is also a joy!
