Kevin “KP” Padowicz

Director of Operations at Cascades

As the Director of Operations at Evoke Cascades, KP facilitates the internal logistics of the program. This includes managing and supporting the logistics operators, maintaining the vehicle fleet, training staff on the safe operation of vehicles, sourcing and stocking gear and food for the field, and managing the warehouse. KP works closely with the clinical, field, and medical departments in order to maintain program-wide consistency.

Born in Syracuse, New York, KP moved to a rural part of central Virginia when he was six years old and had the unique experience of being raised in a southern town by parents who were very much from the north. KP studied classical guitar at Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music. During the latter portion of his college experience, KP took a break from school and attended Evoke Therapy Programs as a young adult client. After graduating the program, he went on to successfully complete his music degree.

KP came back to Evoke to work as a field instructor in 2013 about a year and a half after graduating from the program. He spent the next 8 years working in the field for different lengths of time before stepping into the Director of Operations role. Often when KP would step away from the field, he worked various food service industry jobs, largely in Las Vegas, one of his favorite cities. It was a desire for more engaging, meaningful work that continued to bring KP back to Evoke, where he relishes the opportunity to work with adolescents and young adults who are in different phases of their own unique journey toward whole, sustainable health.

KP enjoys playing guitar, listening to music with an intentional ear, and engaging in meaningful conversations in his free time. He loves the desert and continues to find wonder in the various awe-inspiring spaces of our natural world.
