Senior Field Instructor
Characterized by her positive energy and care for others, Lorin brings a wide variety of experience working with young people. Lorin developed both a thick skin and an ingrained resilience growing up as the youngest of seven mischievous neighborhood kids. It was in this environment that Lorin honed her perceptive, savvy nature and showed a knack for bringing people together.
As a former collegiate tennis player, avid runner, swimmer, and climber, Lorin is constantly searching for ways to move and challenge herself. Lorin’s passion for movement combined with her aptitude in building communities has guided her through co-leading a group of teens biking across America to building an afterschool tennis program for local elementary school students. As a field instructor, Lorin seeks to utilize movement as a means to build community—the key, Lorin believes, in gaining more self-awareness and a sense of belonging in life.
Lorin graduated with a B.A. from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington where she served as a junior and senior captain on the women’s tennis team. When not in the field, she enjoys being active and satisfying her never ending sweet tooth.
