Tess Ipolito, MS

Hospitality Coordinator at Evoke Therapy Intensives

Tess is a certified health and wellness coach and aspiring clinician. She has been a part of the Evoke family since moving to Utah from New York in 2018. Her interests and experiences span across fields and continents, providing her a unique and holistic approach to her roles as Clinical Assistant and Hospitality Coordinator.

Education and Work Experience

Tess holds a master’s degree from The New School in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management. Before joining the Evoke family in 2018, Tess spent time working with social and environmental justice organizations around the world, as well as working in holistic and naturopathic medicine. Tess has worked as a Senior Field Instructor and Clinical Assistant in the past for Evoke at Entrada. Since moving up to Salt Lake City to pursue her Master’s of Social Work at the University of Utah, she has returned to the family as a Clinical Assistant and Hospitality Coordinator for Evoke Intensives. In addition, Tess is currently providing individual and family therapy for students in the Salt Lake City public schools.

Strengths

Tess strives in and out of the field to role model effective communication, self-love and body awareness, and a growth mindset. She excels in challenging participants to show up authentically, advocate for their needs, take accountability, and learn the value of holding personal boundaries. Much of her success with participants stems from her ability to balance compassion and challenge.
Tess approaches life with curiosity, openness, and a genuine love for diving into all things new and uncomfortable.

Interests

Tess appreciates any opportunity to get outside and loves camping, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. When not at school, working, or in the woods, chances are you can find her hosting a dinner party for friends, or enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the bustle of her neighborhood from her back porch.
