Kallee is a licensed clinician skilled in making the work experiential and fun. She values relationships and understands the importance of healthy attachment with others for the sense of self. She has extensive experience working with complex family systems as well as teenagers. Kallee understands the need to help her clients look beyond the surface problem and understand the "why" behind it.

Education & Prior Work Experience 

Kallee is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She has worked with adolescents and families in residential treatment for more than years in different roles. She has spent time as a youth mentor, residential director, therapist, and clinical director. She attended Utah Valley University for her undergraduate studies in Sociology and later completed her graduate studies in Psychology at California Southern University.

Strengths

Kallee's strength is understanding, assessing, and treating family systems and helping each member feel empowered to create change. She is certified in brainspotting, EAGALA, trauma sensitive yoga, and has experience using sand tray and other hands-on modalities to promote self exploration. Through a psychodynamic and attachment-based lens she facilitates self-exploration to help her clients develop a greater sense of self-awareness, which will direct them toward self acceptance and love.

Interests

Kallee enjoys the outdoors and that is where she spends most weekends. She spends time with her husband and family dirt-biking, fishing, canyoneering, and exploring the mountains. She also enjoys hands-on projects and being able to create things, like wood-working or art.
