Kaela’s innate curiosity about the world and the people around her lead her to the field of mental health. From co-founding the University of Denver Active Minds Chapter (a national organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness on college campuses) in her undergraduate years, to working in a residential treatment center for youth with substance abuse disorders, to pursing an advanced degree in marriage and family therapy. Kaela’s dedication to this work radiates in the way she approaches life.

Education and Prior Work Experience

Kaela graduated from the University of Denver, Cum Laude, with a degree in Business Management and minors in psychology and entrepreneurship. Since graduating, she has worked directly with adolescents in outdoor and residential therapeutic settings. She loves working at Evoke because she has seen the transformative power of therapy firsthand and enjoys promoting a service that she believes in.

Kaela is a lifelong learner and believes in the power of curiosity and open-mindedness. She loves connecting with others, listening without judgement, and living in gratitude.

Interests

In her free time, Kaela enjoys spending as much time outside as possible. Specifically, she loves running long distances, rock climbing, skiing, and (recently) golfing. Kaela also is passionate about traveling, baking, writing, and reading!
