Program Director

Evoke at Cascades is a leader in Wilderness Therapy for adolescents and young adults located in Bend, Oregon. We are seeking a full-time experienced individual with a minimum of five years of outdoor program administrative experience and a minimum of two years Outdoor Youth Program field experience. Applicants must have knowledge and experience demonstrating competence in areas of program planning, creating policies, budgeting, fiscal management, and personnel management.

Job Description

The Program Director provides program-wide leadership and direct supervision over the field department. Additionally, in collaboration with the administrative and clinical departments, coordinates continual trainings for all departments, implements and manages program-wide budgets, enforces program policies and procedures, and implements program philosophies and development. The Program Director also maintains land use relationships and permits, represents Evoke through industry organization involvement, various conference attendances, and oversees visits to the program by referring professionals. The Program Director is also expected to visit the field once a month and prepare reports of each visit to document conditions of clients, interactions between clients and instructor, and ensure overall program quality and compliance.

Qualifications

These qualifications include Evoke expectations and local, state, and federal requirements, additional requirements may apply. The Program Director must be at least 25 years of age, have a BA or BS degree or equal training and experience in a related field, and meet local and state policies regarding criminal history. The Program Director has a minimum of five years of outdoor program administrative experience. The Program Director has knowledge and experience demonstrating competence in areas of program planning, budgeting, fiscal management, and personnel management. The Program Director must be trained and certified annually in CPR and Standard First Aid, and have completed an initial field staff orientation.
