Assistant Field Director

Evoke Entrada in Santa Clara, UT is seeking a full-time Assistant Field Director.

Job Description

  • Supervise, evaluate, and train Field Guides
  • Implement program policies and procedures
  • Work with the leadership team on risk management and program development
  • Conduct interviews as part of the recruitment process
  • Visit a group in the field one to two times each week
  • Work one to two field shifts per year
  • Be on call every five to six weeks, including the weekend, for Field Guides and Transporters
  • Assist with emergency response when needed, including nights and weekends
  • Further duties assigned by the Field Director

Qualifications

  • BA or BS or equal training/experience in a related field
  • Current Wilderness First Responder certification
  • A least one year of experience in the field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in a managerial or programmatic leadership role is helpful but not required
