Assistant Field Director
Evoke Entrada in Santa Clara, UT is seeking a full-time Assistant Field Director.
Job Description
- Supervise, evaluate, and train Field Guides
- Implement program policies and procedures
- Work with the leadership team on risk management and program development
- Conduct interviews as part of the recruitment process
- Visit a group in the field one to two times each week
- Work one to two field shifts per year
- Be on call every five to six weeks, including the weekend, for Field Guides and Transporters
- Assist with emergency response when needed, including nights and weekends
- Further duties assigned by the Field Director
Qualifications
- BA or BS or equal training/experience in a related field
- Current Wilderness First Responder certification
- A least one year of experience in the field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a managerial or programmatic leadership role is helpful but not required
