The Evoke Team
Zach received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and upon graduation worked in property management for several years. He chose to leave that career to pursue his love for the outdoors and conservation in Montana. While working on conservation crews he found meaning and fulfillment in outdoor leadership, team building, and conflict resolution. He also began to explore personal health, later becoming a certified health coach where he studied nutrition, anatomy, physical training, mindset, and lifestyle choices. He firmly believes in the power of wilderness to enact change in people’s lives, to inspire, provide a sense of awe, and the joys that can be found in simple living.
As a Field Instructor, he brought his passion for teaching students the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Zach is interested in helping others overcome trauma and is now a clinical assistant working primarily with Mike Mein.
In his free time, Zach enjoys reading, strength training, hiking, rock climbing, and dancing. He is a die hard Pittsburgh Penguins fan and believes hockey is the greatest sport on earth.
